| Ireland Blyth Limited was incorporated in 1972 following the merger of Ireland
Fraser & Co. Ltd and Blyth Brothers & Co. Ltd, two leading trading companies established
in Mauritius since the beginning of the 19th century.

Our company's history is closely linked to the history of Mauritius.
Involved originally in shipowning and trade at a time when transportation and distribution
of goods were vital for the development of the country, Ireland Blyth Limited diversified
its activities over the years to keep pace with the political and economic changes taking
place in the country.

Thus, the achievement of independence in 1968 created new opportunities and demands for Mauritius.
Ireland Blyth Limited played its role fully in the development of our newly independent country and ventured
into new territories like tourism, investments,
insurance - all of which are thriving - along with its traditional
trading, shipping and distribution activities.
