| Mer des Mascareignes, in the Sea Food Hub, will focus on the cutting out of frozen fish (-18/-20°C) into loins and dices for export purposes. The whole procedure requires expertise and high standard equipments. The most common species concerned are sea bream, swordfish, ray and tuna. |
| Mer des Mascareignes will mainly export towards Europe, the United States and Japan, with some business on the local market as well. |
| The buildings and general set up is under construction and it is expected that Mer des Mascareignes will be operational by September 2007. |
