The Cluster is also diversifying into property development, and is a pioneer in the production of energy from bagasse cogeneration and renewable sources in Mauritius.

IBL’s Hospitality Cluster brings together IBL’s investments in the tourism and hospitality industries. IBL owns part of LUX* Resorts & Hotels, a market-leading hotel brand with an increasingly international footprint.

IBL’s Life Cluster consists of the Group's investments and operations in the life sciences sector. IBL invests in this innovative industry through IBL Life, a company which it owns in full. The Life Cluster's activities include cutting-edge clinical research and development via its subsidiary CIDP; the operation of high-quality analytical laboratories via QuantiLab; and specialist retail via its joint venture Proximed. It is present in 8 countries worldwide and is a key driver of IBL’s international expansion strategy.

The IBL Logistics Cluster provides comprehensive, end-to-end logistics, shipping and aviation solutions to clients in Mauritius and Indian Ocean.

IBL’s Property Cluster acquires, manages and develops retail, office, residential and industrial properties for the group through property investment, asset management, property and facilities management and real estate developments. The Cluster owns and manages a substantial portfolio of strategically-placed, prime property in the Mauritian capital Port Louis and along the island’s coast.
