Assistant Construction Surveyor

Reporting to the Construction Surveyor, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out site survey as and when required
  • Conduct site visits for ongoing projects
  • Liaise with sub-contractors, prepare subcontract agreement and progress payment as per allowable
  • Prepare and follow up monthly application of payment certificates with all relevant back up
  • Follow up on variation works and pricing of same on a constant basis
  • Assist with the preparation of materials requirements for sites
  • Advise clients on technical matters
  • Assist the estimating team for pricing of tenders, as and when required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Fully conversant with shop drawings and construction drawings
  • Minimum 2 years of experience acquired preferably in a contracting environment

Other Requisites:

  • Quick response for resolving operational issues
  • Self-organised and flexible on working hours
