Project Engineer

IBL Energy , a company in the management, advisory and export of Energy solutions in Mauritius and Africa is looking for a Project Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth running of assigned projects within the time frame.
  • Track, analyze and regularly assess costs during project lifetime.
  • Critically examine installations and pass on findings through constructive feedback;
  • Liaise and supervise consultants appointed for different projects;
  • Devise and outline testing and commissioning procedures;
  • Assist in the sourcing of equipment and subcontracting services pertaining to MEP/PV works;
  • Work on detailed Engineering design for projects and carry out simulations;
  • Prepare costing/BOQ for projects and tenders;

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering;
  • Registration with the CRPE Mauritius and PMP certification would be an advantage;
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.

Other Requisites

  • Good understanding of grid-tied, off-grid and hybrid PV system;
  • Good understanding of wired and wireless networks and system topologies;
  • Experience in using AutoCad;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to deal with difficult and delicate situations professionally and tactfully.
