Trainee Engineer

IBL Energy , a company in the management, advisory and export of Energy solutions in Mauritius and Africa is looking for a Trainee Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out simulations for PV projects;
  • Liaise with procurement for order processing and follow up;
  • Ensure good cost control of projects;
  • Monitor internal technicians and sub-contractors’ work;
  • Prepare reports requested by the Manager and/or the Management team;
  • Report any on-site issues to the Contract Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering;
  • At least 1-2 year(s) of experience.

Other Requisites

  • Sound understanding of grid-tied, off-grid and hybrid PV system;
  • Good planning and coordinating skills
  • Self starter and ability to be multi tasked
  • Must be available to work odd hours and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
