Trainee Financial Analyst

BrandActiv is looking for dynamic and motivated new team member to support its Finance department as Trainee Financial Analyst who shall be under the YEP Scheme for one year.

The job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Analyse current and past financial data
Produce variance analysis reports to assess the company’s financial performance and identify areas for improvement
Analyse costs and expenses related to warehousing, distribution, marketing, and sales to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability
Assess the financial performance of different product lines, brands, or business units and provide recommendations for improvement
Assist in building financial models to support business forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain, to gather necessary data and insights for financial analysis

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate Degree – preferably in finance, economics, statistics or related fields

Good interpersonal skills in building & maintaining rapport with clients
Ability to provide value added solutions/recommendations/meet deadlines

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
