Accounts Clerk

HealthActiv is presently looking for an Accounts Clerk who will provide support to the Finance department in the day-to-day operations and assist with the monthly and yearly procedures. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing: Record all transactions pertaining to expenses.
  • Creditor Payments: Ensure that payments are effected in a timely manner, with respect to the supplier’s credit terms of payment.
  • Reconciliation: Provide supplier statement of accounts and monitor creditor ageing analysis.
  • Reporting: Assist with the end-of-month account closure and the preparation of reports for submission to the MRA.
  • Audit: Collaborate with auditors to retrieve requested documents.
  • Compliance: Ensure the timely documentation and filing of accounting documents and the accuracy of recorded data.

Qualifications & Experience

  • HSC, with Accounting and Mathematics as core subjects.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools.
  • Currently undertaking ACCA will be an advantage.
