Accounts Officer

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post accounting documents such as fees, receipts, invoices, requisitions, vouchers, expense accounts and related operating reports
  • File and maintain accounting records and reports
  • Prepare and mail bills or statements and prepare lists of outstanding bills payable
  • Prepare payment for creditors and perform supplier statement reconciliations
  • Post banking and journal entries and perform bank reconciliation
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports
  • Prepare and file monthly returns for VAT and TDS
  • Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum ACCA level 2
  • 2 years of working experience in a similar position
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications

Other Requisites

  • Detail-oriented and excellent organisational skills
  • Able to handle pressure and work within tight deadlines
