Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain anaesthesia equipment and supplies.
Set up, calibrate, and test anaesthesia machines and monitors.
Assist anaesthesiologists during procedures by monitoring patients’ vital signs and handing over equipment.
Respond to emergencies and troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure patient safety.
Clean, disinfect, and maintain anaesthetic equipment post- procedure.
Manage anaesthesia-related inventory and ensure proper stock levels.
Collaborate effectively with surgical and nursing teams.
Train and mentor junior staff in equipment handling and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Other Prerequisites

Diploma in Anaesthesia Technology or a related healthcare field.
Relevant certifications in anaesthesia technology, resuscitation (e.g., Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support), or specialized training may be required.
Strong knowledge of anaesthetic procedures and equipment.
Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate empathy towards patients.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
