Assistant Company Secretary

If so, we invite you to join our dynamic Corporate Affairs team as an Assistant Company Secretary.

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Affairs the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the planning and convening of meetings (Board, Shareholders, Committees, Management).
  • Attend meetings and draft minutes of proceedings in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Liaise with the regulatory authorities and provide information for compliance purposes;
  • Maintain all statutory registers, be responsible for on-line filings with authorities;
  • Deal with queries from various parties and provide information related to the company secretarial function;
  • Provide support to Boards and directors with regard to corporate governance matters;
  • Assist management in various projects by providing company secretarial support.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • ICSA qualified or partly ICSA qualified.
  • Relevant degree from a recognized institution;
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar position;

OTHER PREREQUISITES

  • Fluent in both English and French written and verbal;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality;
  • Rigorous and methodical with an eye for details;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Very good command of Microsoft tools.
