Contracts Manager – Interiors Sites

Reporting to the Operations Manager of MS Interiors Sites, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site operations including site establishment, manpower planning, materials procurement planning, and day-to-day running
  • Communicate, monitor and coordinate works with main contractors, architects, consultants, and clients’ representatives by attending site meetings and taking necessary follow-up actions
  • Manage projects with respect to budget (allowable), technical & client specifications, and deadlines
  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports for projects to management
  • Manage the contractual matters relating to projects – disputes, extension of time, scope, etc.
  • Manage project cash flow and ensure proper funding for smooth running of site operations
  • Follow up for work variations with QS team and need for acceleration costs
  • Develop & administer quality control policies and procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Conversant with shop drawings/construction drawings
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in management of large construction/renovation projects
  • Additional qualifications in Project Management would be an advantage

Other Requisites:

  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts
  • Computer literate and fully conversant with MS Office applications
  • Self-organised and flexible on working hours
