KEY PREQUISITES FOR SUCCESS

  • Oversee the operational database, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitor and optimize database health, backups, and query performance.

  • Design and implement ETL processes to move data efficiently between systems.
  • Extract and transform data from multiple sources to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data pipelines into the loyalty platform.
  • Build and maintain robust data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
  • Manage datasets to support the analytics team in deriving actionable insights.
  • Work with complex datasets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to define data requirements.
  • Provide accurate and timely data for business intelligence initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years in database management, data engineering, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and ETL tools.
  • Strong SQL skills for database querying and management.
  • Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
