Demand and Supply Planner

We are actively looking for a highly motivated reliable and trustworthy Demand and Supply Planner who will work closely with current team in place.

 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and anticipate market trends for timely purchase of inventory to maintain optimum stock levels;
  • Coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments;
  • Ensure supply continuity through effective demand & supply planning;
  • Work collaboratively with the Brand teams so that commercial strategies are achieved through timely execution;
  • Ensure timely submission of management reports for review meetings;
  • To ensure that the level of service provided to internal & external customers including third parties are up to standards;
  • Implement improvements to Demand and Supply planning processes and tools to deliver tangible benefits and increase efficiencies;
  • Implement the procurement strategy while ensuring agreed customer service and quality at the optimum prices;
  • Ensuring the best offers are received while exploring opportunities for long term relationship with suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

  • Minimum a Degree in one of the following fields; Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years experience in logistics or supply chain function

OTHER PREREQUISITES

  • Excellent knowledge of ERP system & Microsoft Office tools especially Excel
  • Highly organized and efficient in time management
  • Multi-tasking and ability to perform well without close supervision
  • Rational and analytic thinking
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
