Digital Coordinator

Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius is looking for an enthusiastic Digital Coordinator to support its marketing and digital team. The ideal candidate will report to the Digital Executive and assist in various Marketing projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write and edit product content that will be published on E-Commerce websites/portals.
  • Assist in the setting up of standards, systems and best practices for new product listings, content creation, distribution and maintenance.
  • Work closely with different teams (The Shop, Graphics, Commercial) to provide updated content that will be shared across E-Commerce platforms.
  • Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media.
  • Be a subject matter expert to assigned product categories.
  • Monitor changes in product sales by using web analytics and Excel spreadsheets (pivot tables, Vlookups, etc).
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • Develop and assist in the creation of engaging content for social media platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BSc degree in Marketing or Digital or relevant fields
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position in a fast-paced, E-Commerce business and/or hands-on experience in managing and maintaining E-Commerce websites/portals.
  • Proficient in MS Office and more specifically Microsoft Excel is a prerequisite.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign) or editing tools will be a plus.

OTHER REQUISITES:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with web design and a keen eye to detail.
  • Self-driven, curious and eager to make an impact by making things happen.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Available to work on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, as well as odd hours.
