Distribution Control Officer

Logidis Ltd is looking for a Distribution Controller Officer to join our team and help ensure the smooth and secure operation of our distribution processes.

Reporting to the Security Operations Officer:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the opening and closing of the Delivery Bay according to established procedures and upon request.
Conduct regular visual inspections in the consolidated zone and promptly report any anomalies.
Take snapshots of tickets on wrapped pallets, ensuring all pallets are correctly ticketed and escalate if tickets are missing.
Ensure that no unauthorized personnel enter or leave the warehouse through the Loading Bay, with the exception of the Delivery Team.
Ensure that all employees are wearing appropriate safety shoes as per warehouse regulations.
Perform random full pallet checks before they are loaded onto trucks, cross-referencing with corresponding invoices to ensure accuracy.
Conduct on-road distribution control checks as required to maintain compliance and safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

School Certificate
At least 1 year of proven work experience in a similar position

OTHER PREREQUISITES

Strong attention to details.
Good communication skills.
Ability to escalate issues effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license.
Adherence to road safety protocols.
