Key Responsibilities

Assess and manage emergency patients with efficiency and compassion.
Perform diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, and ensure patient stability.
Coordinate with specialists and facilitate patient transfers when required.
Maintain accurate medical records and handle discharge procedures.
Oversee the ER team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and proper stock management of essential medications.
Uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence, empathy, and ethical practice.

Qualifications & Other prerequisites

MBBS or equivalent from an accredited institution.
5–8 years of experience in an emergency healthcare setting.
Valid license from the Medical Council of Mauritius.
Strong analytical, decision-making, and time management skills.
Ability to thrive under pressure and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
