We’re looking for a strategic and agile professional who is not just passionate about Communication but is keen on driving our Communication Strategy to new heights.

As Head of Communications, you will drive a fully integrated agenda to build, promote and protect the IBL brand and reputation both locally and internationally. You will create, integrate and execute communication programmes to support different businesses of the group and provide strategic communication counsel.

  • Strategic Vision: The ability to think strategically and align communication efforts with the overall goals and objectives of the organisation.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal skills are essential. Must be able to convey messages clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Crisis Management: Capacity to handle crisis situations, develop effective crisis communication plans, and respond promptly to mitigate potential damage.
  • Brand Management: Understanding of brand strategy and the ability to ensure that all communication efforts align with and enhance the organisation’s brand image.
  • Digital and Social Media: Expertise in digital communication platforms and social media is crucial. Should master these channels to reach audiences effectively.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to guide and manage a communications team effectively, fostering collaboration and ensuring the team works cohesively towards   common goals.
  • Innovative Thinking: A creative and innovative mindset to develop unique and attention-grabbing communication campaigns.


  • Minimum ten years experience in a Corporate Communication role or related capacity.
  • Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism or related field.
  • Excellent organizational & prioritization skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Computer skills including MS Office softwares such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across other functional areas.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
