Human Capital Operations Manager

Winners, the leading supermarket chain in Mauritius, is looking for an experienced and dynamic Human Capital Operations Manager to consolidate its Human Capital team.  The incumbent will report to the Head of Human Capital and will lead human capital operations of Winners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and develop the Human Capital Operations team.
  • Ensure proper implementation of Human Capital policies and procedures, as per established standards, in all outlets, to attract, develop and retain competent and motivated team members.
  • Assist and provide solutions to managers in properly handling all stages of a team member life cycle – from recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance, career management and succession planning up to offboarding.
  • Contribute towards meeting current and future people requirements by overseeing and ensuring efficiency of the talent acquisition process.
  • Provide solutions to managers and team members on employee relations issues.
  • Deploy appropriate tools and systems to grow the capacity of managers to effectively support, develop and manage their team.
  • Develop dashboards to review, track and monitor the various Human Capital metrics and drive compliance.
  • Promote a harmonious work environment in the outlets to build on employee engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BSc in Human Resources Management or any other equivalent qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in a Human Capital Management position
  • Conversant with MS Office Suite
  • Experience in the retail sector will constitute an advantage

  • Up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in the field of Human Capital
  • Strong emotional quotient and ability to relate to employees at all levels
  • Strong time management, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Committed to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Be employee service-oriented
  • Prepared to work on Saturdays as well as odd hours
  • Holder of a valid driving licence
