Insurance Relationship Manager – Business Development

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and recommend suitable insurance products to clients based on their individual requirements.
  • Explain policy features, benefits, and coverage details to clients, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their insurance options.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments (UW, Claims, Finance, Compliance) to optimize sales strategies and achieve company goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 to 7 years of experience in insurance sales, client relationship management, or account management, ideally in a Retail & SME insurance environment.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value client accounts, with experience in building and maintaining long-term relationships with corporate or high-net-worth clients.
  • Experience in insurance product lines (such as motor, home, health, travel, pleasure craft, and SME insurance) to effectively address client needs and recommend relevant products.
