IT Operations Manager

We are seeking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee the infrastructure and core operational technology across all our entities. In this pivotal role, you will manage IT staff, ensuring efficient operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting through our service desk. You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, security solutions, and more. Reporting to the Head of Integrated Services, the you will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIIES

  • Contribute to the development of the IT strategy, aligning technology initiatives with Life Together organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute IT roadmaps to support business growth.
  • Manage IT staffing and lead IT department operational planning and projects.
  • Collaborate/ Assist Life Together entities to develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Manage relationships including contracts with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Responsible for reviewing and advising on the IT aspects of projects and ensuring that the technology infrastructure is designed to support healthcare operations efficiently, effectively and securely.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget, while collaborating with vendors and contractors.
  • Manage of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, security solutions (firewall, anti-virus…), wireless implementations, and so on.
  • Assist in the provisioning of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or any equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role, having demonstrated an ability to manage effectively IT staffs, service delivery, infrastructure and operational projects.
  • In depth knowledge of ITIL and/or PMP certification will constitute an advantage.

OTHER PREREQUISITES

  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, security and Data protection, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Good project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate across a broad spectrum of users.
  • A probing and analytical approach with the ability to pre-empt potential problems and identify inefficiencies.
  • A very strong customer orientated approach with a delivery bias.
