IT System Administrator

IBL Logistics is looking for a dynamic and dedicated IT System Administrator to join the IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain the systems hardware and software and any other related infrastructure such as Microsoft Servers, SQL Server, and Networks.
  • Monitor IT Systems, security breaches and network performance and make recommendations for upgrades or expansion.
  • Monitor and implement data backups and recovery procedures to maintain critical information.
  • Perform Test Recovery and verify data backups regularly to ensure data integrity and availability in case of systems failures or disaster.
  • Manage servers, cloud-based services, and portable devices.
  • Investigate, diagnose and solve computer software and hardware faults.
  • Provide technical support on-site or via phone or email to users through tickets on helpdesk in a prompt manner.
  • Create and maintain technical documentations of IT Systems
  • Perform system and licenses upgrades following new release.
  • Propose enhancement of existing systems, procedures and policies.
  • Maintain IT Security Policies and enforce IT procedures developed for IBLLOGISTICS.
  • Provide emergency on-call support.
  • Generate regular reports on IT Systems performance, health, and capacity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Holder of a Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Certification in O365, Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA Network+ and Server+.
  • At least 3 years’ working experience with strong knowledge of IT systems and applications, networks management, helpdesks.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL Server with AlwaysOn.
  • Strong Knowledge of Virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of IT Security best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of Unix/ Linux systems, utilities, and scripting.
