IT Technician

IBL Logistics is looking for a dynamic and dedicated IT Technician to join the team. As an IT Technician, the job incumbent will be responsible for managing servers, providing technical support, and maintaining IT Security Policies and enforcing IT procedures developed for the Unit and amongst others.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the systems hardware, software, and any other related IT Infrastructure.
Monitor IT Systems, security breaches and network performance.
Monitor and assist data backups and recovery procedures to maintain critical information.
Perform and assist Test Recovery and verify data backups regularly to ensure data integrity and availability in case of systems failures or disaster.
Investigate, diagnose, and solve telephony, computer software and hardware faults.
Provide technical support on-site or via phone or email to users through tickets on helpdesk in a prompt manner.
Create and maintain technical documentation for IT Systems.
Propose enhancement of existing systems, procedures, and policies.
Provide emergency on-call support.
Generate regular reports on IT Systems performance, health, and capacity.
Ensure good functionality of CCTV.
Active directory (creating users, Group Policy, OUs).
Knowledge of operating system (Windows 10, 11, Windows 2012, windows 2016).
Perform any other cognate duties as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Computer Studies, Information Technology or equivalent.
Certification in O365, Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA Network+ and Server+.
At least 3 years’ working experience with strong knowledge of IT systems and applications, networks management, helpdesks.
