Key Responsibilities

Provide immediate assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to emergency patients.
Oversee patient stabilization and coordinate transfers to appropriate departments.
Maintain accurate medical records and prepare discharge instructions.
Ensure proper handling of medications, including managing dangerous drug stocks.
Collaborate with ambulance services and other healthcare facilities for seamless patient care.
Support and foster a collaborative, motivated, and inclusive team environment.
Uphold high ethical standards, model clinical excellence, and promote patient satisfaction.

Qualifications & Other prerequisites

Bachelor’s degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
3–5 years of ER experience in a hospital setting.
Valid Medical Council of Mauritius license to practice.
Strong decision-making, analytical, and time- management skills.
Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
Willingness to work long shifts, including nights and holidays.
