Marketing/Communication Officer

Logidis Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing/Communication Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will develop and execute communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and promote our services.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance brand awareness and promote the services of the company.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including website, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to design and implement campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Monitor industry trends and analyse competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and create cohesive communication materials.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting events, trade shows, and other marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to evaluate the sales proposals against market standards, including product offerings, services, and pricing compared to competitors.
  • Develop the annual marketing budget and manage expenses throughout the year to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Ensure corporate brand standards are maintained across all levels, including employee interactions, advertising, uniforms, customer communications, presentations, and internal and external communications.
  • Identify and evaluate sponsorship opportunities that align with the company’s brand and goals.
  • Update all marketing KPIs on a monthly basis and present reports to management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a communication or marketing role, preferably within the logistics industry.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
