Pharmacists are at the heart of our organisation and play a key role in fulfilling our commitment towards the health and well-being of our customers. MedActiv is presently looking for a Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy operations and guide the team towards delivering the highest standard of pharmaceutical care and service excellence.

The job incumbent will be mainly required to:

Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance of pharmaceutical care by abiding to the legal scope of practice.
Dispense medications to patients.
Verify patients’ prescriptions for accuracy and safety, ensuring that no medication is contraindicated.
Act as the main driver of customer service initiatives, resulting in outstanding customer experience.
Manage the pharmacy’s inventory, staff and budget.
Guide the pharmacy teams to live and promote the company’s values.
Provide guidance to team members with regards to pharmaceutical knowledge.
Be well versed with product categorisation and brands.
Achieve monthly financial targets.
Ensure safe and responsible stock management across outlets as per the company’s policy.

Qualifications & Experience

Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy.
Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council, MOH, Mauritius.
Proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting.

Other Requisites

Results and target driven.
Excellent planning and organisational skills.
People-oriented and customer-driven.
Well versed with Microsoft tools.
