Pre-Primary Assistant Teacher

The NGO Nou Zenfan Bois Marchand is looking for 2 Assistant Teachers for its pre-primary school located in Bois Marchand (Terre Rouge).

 

Nou Zenfan Bois Marchand pre-primary school aims to reduce inequalities by giving the children of Bois Marchand a quality education.

 

We are looking for two dedicated and passionate persons who care about the harmonious development of 3-5 years old children.

 

As the school is within a community development action, we favour holistic and extracurricular activities during part of the school holidays to co-create positive impact in the lives of our students.

 

The working hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning for the day and week with the Teacher;
  • Monitor evolution and progress of each child;
  • Set up learning activities;
  • Organize educational games, sports day and end-of-year party with the school team;
  • Participate in social development programs (e.g the medical screening of children);
  • Be compliant with Early Childhood Care and Education Authority (ECCEA) regulations.

PREREQUISITIES

  • A School Certificate (minimum 5 credits including Mathematics, English*, and French), (*) a minimum Grade C at HSC supersedes the credit requirements in English at SC;
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in pre-primary education will be an advantage;
  • Good communication skills with children;
