Property Technician

The Property Technician will play a vital role in providing technical support and assistance in the management and maintenance of properties.  The incumbent will work closely with Property Officers, Property Managers, tenants and contractors to ensure that properties are well maintained, safe and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings, equipment, furniture and fittings for functionality and in line with agreed plans and/or procedures.
  • Ensure that equipment is serviced as per agreed plans and/or schedules and that they are in good working condition.
  • Repair and maintain plant, equipment, furniture and fittings in accordance with company procedures.
  • Carry out minor paint, electrical, plumbing and other related works.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with tenants, contractors, vendors, and site workers.
  • Ensure that properties are safe and void of any danger to their occupants, visitors, and workers at all times.
  • Assist in works to be executed on properties.
  • Perform such other cognate duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • National Trade Certificate (NTC) 3 or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge MS Office
  • Experience in building maintenance or facilities would be an advantage
