Quality Officer

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Quality Officer who will assist in the transformational journey of Logidis Ltd. The incumbent will be responsible to drive key Quality initiatives to create and add value to the Company.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the documentation of internal processes including risk assessments, food safety, quality objectives, internal audits and certification across the organization for compliance to regulatory authorities
  • Support the Quality Manager in the implementation of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems in line with the agreed annual plan validated by Management
  • Do follow up on corrective and preventive action plan as requested by regulatory agencies such ISO, European Union, internal and external audits recommendations
  • Conduct and identify relevant training (internal and external) to team members on the Quality Management System or on other topics in line with Training Needs Assessment (TNA) as assigned by the Quality Manager
  • Carry out training effectiveness reports to measure return on investment
  • Ensure Suppliers’ Evaluation is properly conducted on a yearly basis
  • Maintain the CAPA (Corrective Actions Preventive Actions) procedure of the company, and ensure that there is a system in place for the monitoring of departmental CAPA
  • Conduct on site spot-checks and internal audits to ensure that Management and team members are compliant to standards

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree in Operations Management/ Food Science/ Engineering
  • At least 3 years’ proven experience in Quality/ Warehousing/ Food Safety/ Industrial Environment

OTHER PREREQUISITES

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 & HACCP.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Ability to train and mentor staff on quality standards and procedures.
