Sales & Service Engineer – Water Treatment

Blychem Ltd, a company in the sales of Hygiene products, Water treatment solutions, Irrigation supplies, Agro Chemical Products and Swimming Pool treatment is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join its existing team as Sales & Service Engineer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the existing customer portfolio and identify new opportunities to achieve the sales target set by the department.
- Collect water samples for water treatment plants, steam boilers and cooling systems for analysis.
- Test water quality to ensure all parameters are within specifications and accepted norms.
- Adjust chemical treatment levels as required.
- Provide recommendations with respect to the treatment programs in place.
- Repair, calibrate and maintain the equipment as required.
- Ensure compliance with EPA and OSHA 2005 regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- BEng in Chemical Engineering.
- At least 2 years working experience in a similar role.
OTHER PREREQUISITES
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good planning and coordinating skills.
- Good knowledge of water quality regulations, equipment, steam generation, cooling & treatment systems.
- Must be available to work in a fast-paced environment, odd hours and meet tight deadlines.
- A driving license (Manual) is essential for this position.
- Not allergic to chemicals.
