Security Operations Officer

Logidis Ltd is currently looking for a  disciplined and experienced Security Operations Officer to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well – protected. The job incumbent will have to demonstrate excellence surveillance and emergency response skills.

 

The Security Operations Officer will report to the Head of Security Control & Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily security operations at Logidis Ltd. to ensure seamless functioning.
  • Implement and monitor adherence to security policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Manage, supervise, and train security staff and outsourced security service providers.
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for warehouse activities.
  • Investigate and report on security-related incidents, events, and breaches.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and implement remedial actions.
  • Provide daily and monthly security status reports to management.
  • Perform day and night visits to ensure security measures meet expected standards.
  • Coordinate and conduct safety and security activities, including emergency drills.
  • Develop and manage an emergency response team.
  • Aim to minimize or eliminate safety and security incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ Degree in Security Management or any other alternative hands-on experience.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in a similar position or in a security related position.

Other Requisites:

  • Motivated, dynamic, positive attitude with high integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent People Management, negotiation and communication skills
  • At ease with CCTV monitoring and other security related equipment
  • Valid driving licence.
