Senior Accounts Officer

Logidis Limited is looking for a competent and self-motivated Senior Accounts Officer to join its existing team.

The incumbent will report to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end Financial Statements and budgets.
  • Perform statutory returns (VAT, TDS).
  • Perform daily and monthly sales reconciliation.
  • Execute audit checks on petty cash and assist in the establishment of internal controls as per accounting policies.
  • Prepare reports for analysis as and when required.
  • Assist the Accountant in the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Coach and monitor work of subordinates

Qualifications & Experience

  • ACCA partly qualified (Min. Level 1)
  • At least 3 years’ working experience in a similar role within a logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel application and any accounting package.

Other Requisites

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Good planning and coordinating skills.
  • A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Being a Self-starter and self-motivated is critical.
  • Ability to work odd hours and meet tight deadlines.
