Senior Mechanical Engineer

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the site operations of HVAC contracting
- Prepare the shop drawings and calculations for submission to consultants/architects/clients
- Follow-up on actions agreed upon during site meetings
- Prepare and submit reports for mechanical works in air-conditioning
- Follow-up on clients’ queries-operational and technical issues
- Prepare quotations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and claims
- Effect troubleshooting and commissioning of HVAC installations and VRV systems
- Supply equipment and sub contract services pertaining to mechanical works in air-conditioning
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience acquired preferably in a contracting environment specialized in HVAC field
- Fully conversant with HVAC shop drawings and construction drawings
Other Requisites
- Self-organizer with strong analytical skills
- Computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office tools
- Possess thorough knowledge in AutoCAD
- Able to handle pressure and work within tight deadlines
