Sustainability Coordinator

We are actively looking for a highly motivated reliable and trustworthy Sustainability Coordinator who will work closely with current team in place.

 

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics, the job incumbent will be mainly required to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement, and manage sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct research and analysis of ESG trends, regulations, and standards, and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability performance indicators in line with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ESG initiatives are integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Manage ESG data collection and analysis and oversee the ESG reportings and disclosures.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and external partners on sustainability- related matters.
  • Identify and assess ESG-related risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement ESG communication plans to promote
  • Coordinate sustainability-related training and education programs for employees.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in sustainability, environmental studies, or related field
  • At least three year’s work experience in a communications or sustainability focused role
  • Knowledge or experience in an FMCG context or environmental oriented NGO will be an advantage

OTHER PREREQUISITES

  • Ability to develop long-term sustainability strategies that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to synthesize complex information
  • Strong coordination and project management skills
  • Strong inter-personal, written, and verbal communication skills; experience liaising with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Computer literate and at ease with Microsoft Office tools
  • Enthusiasm for discovering and implementing new sustainability practices and technologies
